Lock folders without any software...

Sometimes you have some data you want to save from your friends, you dont want to use any Folder lock software. Then in that case what will you do?

Well here is a simple solution. Suppose you have a folder “TEST”, and you want to lock it.

Method 1:

Just follow the steps and see the result.

Step1
Open a notepad and copy paste the code ; “ren test test.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}”, without quotes.
Step2
Save this file as “lock.bat”.
Step3
Open notepad again and paste in the code ; “ren test.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} test”, without quotes, and save this file as “release.bat”.
Step4
Just paste both these files where your folder is located. Run the LOCK file and your folder will turn into Control Panel.
Step5
To unlock that you need to run the RELEASE file and everything will become back to normal.

Method 2:

users use many software to lock their folder but you can do it manually by a small code.

Step1
right click on your folder and click rename.
Step2
at the last of the folder name paste".{2559a1f2-21d7-11d4-bdaf-00c04f60b9f0}".
Step3
click outside the folder its done you can see folder is locked.
(Try to open that folder you can't open)

Tips & Warnings
* you can unlock this by rename it
* if u can't rename it use command prompt for rename.

It will works for Windows.
This is very basic kind of locking, Very few people know of this. However, If you want some higher level of security for your data, you can try folder locking softwares available in the market.
